Give a sister a little advice?
Alright, so I’ve wanted to take classes at UCB forever, but for normal classes their very minmum requirement is 16, and with a form signed by a guardian. I’m not old enough.
However, I was told by two performers/teachers at UCB that there are, in fact, classes for a slightly younger age wherein they lift that rule.
When I couldn’t find it online, I asked about it the next time I saw one of them, and he said that they exist but don’t list them online with the regular classes and that I should call or something.
So I emailed the training center today about it, and they told me they don’t have any of those classes. Fuck.
So right now I’m stuck between
- Emailing the training center back and telling them what these teachers/performers told me, but I don’t really want to do that because I’m afraid of seeming like I’m some asshole who thinks she can do anything just because she knows people and can drop names and that’s not the person I want to be
- Asking one of the people who told me about them who has become a sort of friend of mine? I don’t want to bother him and I would really have to figure out how I would want to approach that.
- Anything else you can come up with.
I also can’t tell if these are valid things to consider or if I’m just being paranoid?
